We've come to learn that karate offers so much more than that. It also develops their confidence and discipline
We wanted to take the time to write and let you know how much our two children like their karate classes.
Our son, Tommy, started out two years ago as a Tiny Tiger. He is currently in the Junior Program. In that time, we have seen him gain confidence in himself at karate class and at school. He takes great pride in his karate and is eager to continue to learn more. The Instructors at Everson's Karate Institute know how to keep him interested in karate by varying what is taught at each class. This makes it fun for him.
Our daughter, Nicole, started out one year ago in the Junior Program. She is currently a member of the Master's Club. We have seen her gain confidence in herself at karate class, at school, and at the demonstrations she has performed at. She really enjoys learning new things at each karate class, as well as performing at the demonstrations. We have seen her make great progress in the Master's Club.
When we signed our children up for karate classes, we knew that they would learn self-defense and get great exercise. We've come to learn that karate offers so much more than that. It also develops their confidence and discipline. It promotes goal setting, respect, and pride in what they've accomplished. These are important life skills for them to know.
Both of our children are dedicated to earning their black belts in the future, and we believe that they have the desire and discipline necessary to make that happen. It is good to know that karate has helped enrich our children in all aspects of their lives.

"We are very proud of both our sons for all they have
achieved at Eversons and for the respectful young men
they are growing up to be."
What a wonderful day February 18, 2006 was for our family! It was the day our youngest son, Hunter Sherry, received his Black Belt from Everson's Karate. After many years of hard work and dedication, his day to reap the rewards of his efforts had come! As proud as my husband and I were on that day, I believe there was one member of our family who was even prouder and filled with emotion. That is our older son, Brandon, who received his Black Belt two years prior. The fact that they have now both achieved the same honor from Everson's Karate is yet another bonding factor in their very close relationship.
We are very proud of both our sons for all they have achieved at Eversons and for the respectful young men they are growing up to be. The fine teachers at Everson Karate have taught them that if you focus and dedicate yourself, your goals are truly obtainable. After Hunter's ceremony we were able to share the day with the many good friends our family has made through our years at Everson's Karate.
We look forward to sharing many more of our family's special memories with our Everson's family. The next milestone that is in our horizon is the possibility of Brandon receiving his second degree this summer. Thank you for helping us to raise two boys that we are very proud of!
